Grant Success Stories

Developing a strong, collaborative relationship with each client is a priority because it leads to success for both of us, and this is especially true for grant proposal writing.

Here are a few examples that celebrate the hard work and cooperation it takes to successfully present a funding organization with the facts needed to match their giving focus and guidelines to the nonprofit organization that will use their money wisely and well.

Some recent client successes include:

  • A nonprofit community development corporation awarded $40,000 to support sustainability education in an urban setting by demonstrating that the "green movement" isn't just for the affluent and is, in fact, an essential component of reversing poverty.

  • A $5,000 mechanical lift purchased with a capital improvement grant award allowed students who are highly dependent to be moved with dignity while minimizing staff injury caused by manual lifting at a special needs school.

Grant writing is a team effort with many internal and external factors necessary for success.

I offer:

  • Grant readiness

  • Funder prospecting

  • Proposal writing

  • Follow-up

And my clients achieve results with strong, well-written grant proposals.
